This is a late 30s or early 40s Art Deco art-ware porcelain dresser box with handmade roses on the lid and it has a matching dish that will fits inside. I know that this Art Deco dresser box was made before the 50s because I would see it on grandfather’s dress when I would visit my grandparents. The Art Deco era was from 1922 to 1945. There is no hallmark on the bottom of dresser box so the maker is unknown. I could not find a dresser box shaped like this one anywhere in my research on this dresser box. One rose petal has a peace broken off and lost in time and the small dish has one little chip on it. Other than that, it is in excellent condition with no cracks, dents, necks, scratches, repairs, fleabites, stains, or wears-marks.
