Magnolia laevifolia - (Michelia yunnanensis)
Syn. Magnolia laevifolia. A stunning small evergreen tree, with fine, glossy green leathery foliage that always looks tidy and clips well into topiary or hedging. Fantastic velvety bronze buds open to reveal beautiful scented cream flowers in early spring. Native to Yunnan, China, it is very hardy in Irish climates.
